Malinda Vasquez

Coach Vazquez is entering her 6th season as a coach for the Falcons. She began coaching as an assistant with the Falcons girls volleyball team in 2011 and is now an assistant on the boys volleyball staff as well. During that time, Malinda also worked with the boys and girls soccer teams as an assistant coach.

Born and raised in West Palm Beach, Coach Vasquez is a 1995 graduate of John I. Leonard High School in Greenacres. She was a 4-year letterman on the Lancers softball team and a 2-year letterman on the volleyball team. Malinda continued her softball career at Northwood University where she played 2nd base for the Seahawks.

Her coaching career began in 2006 with an 8U softball team, which she led to a 4th place finish in the 8U World Series. Afterwards, she continued coaching softball through 2015 at various levels from recreation, travel, and all stars.

Malinda still resides in West Palm Beach with her husband Frank of 18 years and is avid in competitive softball and billiards. Malinda's oldest daughter Angela is a 2015 graduate of the Hill and was a standout athlete for the Falcons. Her youngest daughter Andrea is currently a sophomore who competes in Volleyball, Soccer, and Softball for the Falcons.
