Clayton Williams was named Forest Hill boys basketball assistant coach in August 2015. He is expected to contribute to the program in many areas including individual instruction, guard development, program shooting coach, academic leader, and community liaison.

Williams is beginning his coaching career after just finishing a stellar playing career. In 2015, he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Management from Palm Beach Atlantic University in West Palm Beach, Fla. He also competed for the Men’s Basketball team at PBA. Where during his senior year started all 26 games for the Sailfish and averaged 25.2 minutes per game… Finished the season scoring 7.9 points per game, scoring in double-digits on seven different occasions… Scored a season high 20 points versus Johnson University… leading the team in three-pointers made with 50. Played a career high 38 minutes versus Morehouse College on November 30th. 2015.

During his junior season at PBA he provided the team another solid backcourt player with the ability to get hot and knock down the long-range shot... Appeared in all 26 games while starting 25 contests on the season and playing an average of 26.3 minutes per game... Averaged 10.4 points per game to finish second on the team. Scored in double-figures a total of 12 times including a team-high 30 point output versus Nova Southeastern on January 11th... Pulled down a season-high seven rebounds versus Lynn University on December 4th... Dished out a season-high six assists in three different games.

Prior to Palm Beach Atlantic University, Williams contended on the Men’s basketball team at Francis Marion University in Florence, SC.

Clayton Williams attended North Gwinnett High School in Suwanee, Georgia. Where he competed on the boys’ basketball team for head coach Zach Smith. He would average 11.8 PPG, 5.2 APG, and 2 SPG, and known foremost for his integrity and passion. He would be chosen to the All-County first-team, as well as selected to the All-Region first-team... Named Team MVP.

Clayton has also volunteered with various basketball camps around the country including 180 Hoops, Go for the Goal, above and beyond, and John “Spider” Salley’s Annual Camp.

When asked about his decision to join the Falcon staff he replied “I want to share my passion for the fundamentals of the game coupled with the love for youth, I am very excited about this great opportunity to mentor young basketball players.”
