Russ Milliken

  Head Varsity Coach
  Alma Mater: St. Thomas University

Coach Milliken graduated from Key West High School in 1981, where he played 4 years as a centerfielder for the Fighting Conchs. He received a baseball scholarship to St. Thomas University in Miami. Due to an injury, he was unable to play baseball his senior year which was a major disappointment to both him and his teammates.

Coach Milliken taught at Key West High School, his alma mater, for 10 years. During this time he coached boy’s baseball and girl’s softball. He then moved to West Palm Beach in 1995 and began his career at Forest Hill High School. He has taught at Forest Hill for 21 years and been coaching varsity baseball for 20 years.

In the off season, Coach Milliken devotes a lot of his time volunteering at Phipps Park, a local rec league baseball park. Giving back to the community is something he holds in high regard. He enjoys helping coach the younger players who may one day play ball at Forest Hill.

When not on the clay, Coach Milliken is an avid fisherman. He has been married to his wife Robin for 22 years. They have two sons, Madison, 21, who is enlisted in the Navy and Kyle, 16, who is a junior at Forest Hill High School.
