Falcons Take Flight at States

Kissimmee, FL- The greatest run of wrestling in Forest Hill School history has ended this evening at Silver Spurs Arena in Kissimmee, Florida. The Falcons ended the evening with an 8th place finish in the 3A team standings; finishing higher than any other team in Forest Hill history at the state tournament. The Falcons flight to the top of the standings was aided by remarkable runs to the state championship bout by seniors Pablo Asenjo at 126 lbs. and Jorge Loy at 182 lbs., a gutsy 5th place finish by junior heavyweight Jordon Earle, and a stellar performance by 113 lb. sophomore Kevin Hernandez. States: The Final Frontier

West Palm Beach, FL- It has been an unprecedented season for the Forest Hill Falcons varsity wrestling team. The Falcons took home a 2nd place finish at the Palm Beach County Championships in early February and most recently placed 3rd at the Class 3A Region 3 tournament. Both finishes are the highest the Falcons have ever finished as a team at the two tournaments. This weekend at the FHSAA Class 3A State Wrestling Championships in Kissimmee, Florida the Falcons are looking to make history again with 4 wrestlers competing and vying for a coveted state championship in their individual weight classes. Asenjo Takes Fourth at States

Kissimmee, FL- This past weekend, three of our very own Forest Hill Falcons wrestlers flew into the Silver Spurs Arena in Kissimmee, Florida to compete in the FHSAA Class 3A State Wrestling Championships. Junior Pablo Asenjo (126 lbs.), Junior Jorge Loy (160 lbs.), and Sophomore Jordon Earle (Heavyweight) each competed in a 16-man bracket to determine the best wrestlers in the state of Florida. Both Earle and Loy had strong showings, but Asenjo, in his second trip to the state tournament, stole the show for the Falcons. Read the full story.

Asenjo, Earle, Jones are District Champs

Wellington, FL- The Forest Hill wrestling team competed in the District Championship tournament this past weekend at Wellington Community High School. The Falcons sent 7 wrestlers to the tournament and advanced 6 of those student-athletes to this Friday and Saturday’s Regional Wrestling Championships at Park Vista Community High School.
