All-American Megan Murphy

West Palm Beach, FL- Megan Murphy burst onto the high school swim scene in 2017 as a freshmen on the girls varsity swim team. Megan qualified for the state swim meet in 3 different events and brought home a 3rd place state finish in the 100 meter backstroke. So far in 2018, Megan has been named to the national academic all-american swim team and has claimed a county championship in the 100 meter backstroke by breaking the county record. She also placed 3rd in the county meet in the 50 meter freestyle. Megan is poised to make a run a state title in 2018 as post-season swimming has begun around the state of Florida. Darius McClendon Explodes

West Palm Beach, FL- Senior quarterback Darius McClendon and the Falcons varsity football team found themselves in uncharted waters on Friday night against the Jupiter Warriors. The Falcons trailed the Warriors 21-19 on the road at Jupiter and had a critical 4th down inside the Warriors 20 yard line with just 49 seconds left to go in the game. McClendon bought some time out of the pocket by scrambling from would be tacklers and lofted the game winning touchdown pass to fell senior Chaz Eaton. McClendon finished the game with a career high 253 yards rushing and a rushing touchdown to go along with the game winning touchdown pass. Through 6 games, McClendon has rushed for 623 yards and 10 touchdowns for the 6-0 Falcons. Read the full story.

Falcons D Steps Up Against Bulls

West Palm Beach, FL- With the bye week looming ahead of them, the Forest Hill varsity football team still needed to take care of business against the visiting West Boca Bulls at Forest Hill Community High School on Friday night. In Front of a capacity crowd, the Falcons swarming defense took charge of the game in the 2nd half after the Falcons found themselves in a dogfight at halftime with the score knotted up at 14-14. 2 defensive touchdowns later and a special team’s score lifted the Falcons to a 49-14 blowout win over the Bulls. Falcons Surge in the Pool

Stuart, FL- The Forest Hill High School Girls’ swim team is making waves in local pools as post-season nears and competition begins to heat up. This past weekend the girls competed in a huge event at the Sailfish Splash Waterpark and Aquatics Center in Stuart, Florida. Competing with just 5 girls, the Falcons managed to place 7th overall in a strong field that squads 4 to 5 times the size of the Falcons’ squad. Read the full story.
